We are thrilled to share exciting news: the Cardinal Family Matching Gift Challenge continues this year! Every donation made in support of our Annual Cardinal Walkathon for Seniors will be doubled by Cardinal Funeral Home, up to $20,000. This makes our walkathon an incredible opportunity for everyone who believes in the importance of caring for our community’s seniors to make an even greater impact.

Every year, staff, current and past family members, Board members, community supporters, donors, and volunteers come together to walk, raise funds, and make donations to our cause. Over the years, our Annual Cardinal Walkathon has grown into our largest community engagement and fundraising initiative! It has truly become a celebration of our community’s strength, shared values, and commitment to providing the care and services our elderly seniors so rightfully deserve.
We’re delighted to offer you three ways of becoming a part of this amazing initiative:
- Sign up to walk and raise funds for the care, programs and services we offer our community’s seniors.
- Encourage family members and friends to join the walk and raise funds for our cause
- Make a donation in support of one or more Walkathon participants.
We’re introducing exciting new additions for all participants and donors. Every participant and donor will enjoy special health and wellness sessions from Breathe Yoga Studio, including tips on stretching and walking, and DK Wellness will offer advice on nutrition and physical activity.Let’s come together again this year to walk, celebrate, and make a positive impact for our seniors. - Group 1 (10k) starts at 8:30 AM, at the parking lot of James Gardens, led by Coordinator Anna Denkova.
- Group 2 (5k) starts at 10:00 AM, at the parking lot of James Gardens, led by Coordinator Anna Do.
