Befriend Technology – Printers & Scanning

This class is designed to help you feel more confident using printers at home or in the community. We’ll explore the different types of printers (inkjet, laser, and all-in-one), how to set them up, and how to connect them to your phone, tablet, or computer using USB or Wi-Fi. You’ll also learn, step by step, how to print documents and photos, adjust common settings, and how to scan using an all-in-one printer.

We’ll also cover basic troubleshooting tips for common issues such as paper jams, low ink/toner, and connection problems. Centre printers will be available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own printer and the device they usually print from—whether that’s a phone, tablet, or laptop.
