Befriend Technology – Tech Jargon & Everyday Digital Skills

This is a practical, confidence-building session where we’ll break down common tech terms—like browser, app, link, cloud storage, Wi-Fi vs. data, AI, and spam or phishing—using clear, simple explanations. The goal is to take the mystery out of the language you see on your phone, tablet, or computer so it feels less overwhelming and more familiar.

Participants will also learn useful skills they can apply anywhere, including copy and paste, taking and sharing screenshots, searching within apps and settings, using “Share” buttons (such as AirDrop), updating apps, closing apps properly, finding downloaded files, and safely restarting devices when something goes wrong.
