Protein Requirements for Older Adults: They’re Higher Than You Think!

March 27, 2025 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Protein is important for building and preserving lean tissue, particularly in older adults. As we age, lean tissue declines, which impacts strength, balance and physical function. When protein needs aren’t met, older adults risk falling and for overall quality of life declines. This seminar will explain how much protein is required for older adults, and will provide examples of high protein food sources. Most importantly, practical tips will be shared on how to implement high quality protein food sources daily.
